A Divinely Delivered Playlist

I normally drive to and from work in total silence like a psychopath.

I had a morning drive from hell today. It took me almost 2 hours to get to work. It was raining, there was a flipped trailer on 290, and the lady with a cross hanging from her mirror and a Blue Lives Matter sticker on her back window flipped me off.

In an attempt to tame my road rage, I threw on some music. More specifically my Spotify’s β€œDiscover Weekly” playlist, which is typically songs that I’ve already discovered mixed with some songs I wished I hadn’t. This morning was different. It was 1 hour and 34 minutes of the chillest shit I could’ve hoped for. For the most part, it was long, instrumental-heavy songs and was successful at keeping my road rage in check. 6 songs in, I realized what was going on and was blown away at how this beautiful playlist came to me at the perfect moment. It was almost like it was divinely delivered.

I was so inspired, in fact, that I have duplicated the playlist so that you yourself can throw it on to compliment your rainy Tuesday. If you’re at home, have yourself a Chill Country gummy and throw this playlist on. And to the lady who flipped me off this morning, you definitely should put this on… and I forgive you.
